STERILE COLLAGEN PARTICLES

Collbond is an extracellular matrix protein playing a major role in connective tissue. It is the most abundant protein in humans and performs multiple functions. In fish, the largest concentration of collagen is found in the skeleton, fins, skin, and air bladder. Collagen encourages wound healing through the deposition and organization of freshly formed fibers and granulation tissues in the wound bed and thus creating a very conducive environment for wound healing.

STERILE MEDICATED COLLAGEN PARTICLES

Collbond AB particles are primarily a Type I Fish Collagen Particles in lyophilized particle. Mupirocin 2% and Metronidazole 1% will be active against gram-positive bacteria including aerobes and Fungi, protozoa, and gram-negative bacteria including anaerobes respectively.
